Royal Academy of Engineering’s Leverhulme Trust Senior Research Fellowships Scheme. This is the last call for this scheme and there is a high chance of success for applications which meet Academy standards.
RAEng / The Leverhulme Trust Senior Research Fellowships As academics find their careers progressing into more senior roles they also find that their workload evolves to include more teaching and administrative responsibilities with less time to dedicate to research. The RAEng / The Leverhulme Trust Senior Research Fellowships aim to address this by allowing academics to concentrate on full time research by covering the salary costs of a replacement academic to cover teaching and administrative responsibilities for up to one year. Applications must be received by 4pm on Wednesday19 October 2016.
BA/Leverhulme Senior Research Fellowships

Particular focus is on individuals who have laboured for a long period of time with little or no prospect of dedicating time towards their project or to produce what, in many cases, hopes to be a career defining work
